Foxx Report

The Biden-Harris administration’s ill-advised withdrawal from Afghanistan was an abject failure that will never be forgotten. The American people demand, and deserve, accountability for this utter catastrophe. As a result of this ill-conceived maneuver, 13 brave service-members lost their lives, many were wounded, and more than 800 Americans were stranded behind enemy lines for months. The Taliban seized more than $7 billion in U.S. military equipment abandoned by the Biden-Harris administration – included in the items the Taliban now possesses are military aircraft, weapons, and ground vehicles. What became clear immediately was that there was no plan in place to facilitate such a withdrawal – the evidence confirms this as fact.

This week, House Republicans took a stand to hold members of the Biden-Harris administration accountable for this failure. We passed H. Res. 1469, the Ensuring Accountability for Key Officials in The Biden-Harris Administration Responsible for Decision-making and Execution Failures Throughout the Withdrawal from Afghanistan Resolution. Below are a few of the 15 individuals who this resolution correctly condemns for the botched Afghanistan withdrawal:

  • Joseph R. Biden, President of the United States.
  • Kamala D. Harris, Vice President of the United States.
  • Antony Blinken, Secretary, the Department of State.
  • Lloyd Austin, Secretary, the Department of Defense.
  • Jen Psaki, Former Press Secretary, White House.

I was proud to vote in favor of this resolution – accountability must not be forsaken. This catastrophe should have never occurred – a peace through strength foreign policy agenda, like that of President Trump, would have prevented this disgraceful withdrawal, and the chaos that followed, from ever happening. It’s time we returned to those very same policies to restore order in the world, and to protect American interests both here at home and abroad. Anything less simply will not do.

Exposing Antisemitism

Recently, I released a new report detailing how unions put politics over members while pursuing antisemitic activism. The report includes a thorough accounting of rampant antisemitic activity within the Association of Legal Aid Attorneys (ALAA) following its passage of an anti-Israel resolution in December of 2023. Following the resolution’s adoption, it was revealed that the statutory rights of union members were violated through retaliatory actions related to the resolution. This report pinpoints the caustic, antisemitic ideology that has consumed many unions, ALAA in particular, while providing commonsense legislative prescriptions that will aid in properly educating union members across the nation on their statutory rights—one of them being the right to free speech.

My Latest Op-Ed

This week, I penned an op-ed in Fox News that covers how the media is working overtime to heap praise on Governor Tim Walz’s policies while failing to acknowledge that his own administration overlooked millions of dollars in fraud. Here’s a short excerpt:

You may have noticed the media heaping praise on Walz’s policies as governor, including the universal school lunch legislation he signed in 2023. Ignoring that the program abuses taxpayer dollars by allowing wealthy families to take advantage of school lunch programs, the media roundly casts it in a positive light. Why? To change the conversation.

Quote of The Week

“A person may cause evil to others not only by his actions but by his inaction, and in either case he is justly accountable to them for the injury.”
