Tomorrow, we join in fellowship with our loved ones, neighbors, and friends, to reflect upon the many blessings that God has bestowed upon us and our nation. For one day, we can set aside the issues of the day and spend time giving thanks for living in such a magnificent Republic that harbors profound freedom. Truly, Thanksgiving is a direct reflection of everything that makes America great.

One of the things that I am most grateful for is the opportunity to be your voice in Washington, and to fight for the values and ideals that are near and dear to North Carolinians. While there are certainly some who wish to see our values and ideals completely stripped away, I continue to take a stand every day to defend the Constitution, our God-given rights, and our way of life. It is the greatest honor to do so, and one that I do not take lightly.
