This week, Congress held a District Work Period, and I have been travelling around the Fifth District visiting local organizations, meeting constituents and commemorating our nation’s fallen heroes. It has been great to hear from many North Carolinians, and I wanted to share with you a few snapshots of my recent activities.
It was wonderful meeting the 2019 inductees of the Wilkes County Hall of Fame. This year’s inductees range from the agricultural sector to numerous community organizations. All have worked hard to make the Wilkes community a better place, and it was great to celebrate their achievements.
It was an honor to address the 2019 graduating class of Millers Creek Christian School.
