Every single day, we are extremely blessed to wake up in the greatest country in the world. Tomorrow, Americans across the country will gather together to celebrate Independence Day and celebrate 250 years of American excellence, freedom, and prosperity that cannot be found anywhere else in the world. As I have said before, America’s 250th anniversary is a monumental milestone – it’s a testament to how this grand experiment in self-governance has endured the tests of time, and the many trials and tribulations we have overcome in our history. Indeed, there is much to celebrate.

The Founders set in motion a true revolution, and the majority of the American people supported their mission because the concept of freedom was held so dear. Think of the sacrifices that these men made in the pursuit of unbridled freedom, especially when they signed their names to the Declaration of Independence. They pledged their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor so that their fellow man could live free and not under the shroud of a tyrannical, foreign government. We ought not to forget that. It is my hope that everyone will share in the sentiment of the John Adams quote that I have included below.

How do we keep it this way? How do we preserve this grand experiment so that those who come in the next 250 years and beyond can have the same magnitude of patriotism, pride in our nation, and abiding faith in God? The answer is really quite simple. It is up to every one of us to educate America’s future leaders – to teach them of the values and God-given freedoms that have always been interwoven in the fabric of this nation, and that reside in the hearts of the American people. That is how we preserve this grand experiment in self-governance, the blessings of liberty, and the God-given freedoms that we cherish so dearly. That is the mantle that we have the sacred obligation of carrying.

It is a wonderful time to be alive in the freest nation in the world – we live in the best of times, and do not let anyone tell you differently! I wish you and your loved ones a blessed Independence Day, and may God continue to bless the United States of America.

Quote of The Week

“I am well aware of the Toil and Blood and Treasure that it will cost us to maintain this Declaration, and support and defend these States. Yet through all the gloom I can see the rays of ravishing light and glory. I can see that the end is worth more than the means.”

-John Adams

Have a blessed weekend,
