Our great nation is on a better and brighter path thanks to President Trump and our Republican leadership in the People’s House and the United States Senate. American exceptionalism is skyrocketing. On Tuesday, I had the pleasure of attending President Trump’s State of the Union address, and was very pleased to hear his vision for what we will accomplish over the next three years of his term and to celebrate the monumental victories that we have achieved together over the last year. Together, we’ve secured monumental victories for hardworking taxpayers and families in every community across our nation – but we’re not done.
Here is a just a small selection of powerful excerpts from President Trump’s address that I want to share with you:
“This July 4th, we will mark two and a half centuries of liberty and triumph, progress and freedom, in the most incredible and exceptional nation ever to exist on the face of the Earth. And you've seen nothing yet. We're going to do better and better and better. This is the golden age of America.”
“The revolution that began in 1776 has not ended; it still continues because the flame of liberty and independence still burns in the heart of every American patriot. And our future will be bigger, better, brighter, bolder and more glorious than ever before.”
“From 1776 to today, every generation of Americans has stepped forward to defend life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And they really doing it for the next generation, but now it's our turn. Together, we're building a nation where every child has the chance to reach higher and go further, where government answers to the people, not the powerful and where the interests of hardworking American citizens are always our first and ultimate concern.”
I am very much looking forward to continuing our work in moving our nation even further into the golden age. I’m also eager to keep you apprised every step of the way so that you know the facts and can be informed of our important work.
