The defense of our nation is the primary imperative of the government – it is a bond between every state in our union, and one that keeps us strong and secure. One of President Reagan’s philosophies that is often referenced today – and is also the title of this newsletter – captures that sentiment perfectly. It is because of that governing philosophy that the United States military is now the greatest fighting force on the face of the earth. No other nation even comes close. In his address to the nation on Wednesday night, President Trump highlighted why the United States is working alongside Israel to dismantle the Iranian terrorist regime just in time to stop the regime from wreaking havoc on the world by its development of a nuclear weapon. The United States’ capabilities in dismantling the regime continue to grow by the day, and how the nation’s warfighters are tactically eliminating an entity that has caused immense carnage and destruction over the course of decades to the international community, as well as their own people.
Since Operation Epic Fury began:
- More than 150 Iranian vessels have been sunk with 92% of their largest vessels having been destroyed.
- Over 44 Iranian minelayer vessels have been destroyed.
- Over 66% of Iranian missile, drone, naval production facilities and shipyards have been damaged or destroyed.
- Ballistic missile attacks launched by the Iranian regime have decreased a staggering 90%.
- Over 11,000 Iranian regime targets have been struck.
I certainly share the President’s sentiment that the Iranian terrorist regime should be crushed, and that the Iranian people deserve peace and freedom without the fear of retribution. The objectives of Operation Epic Fury will be accomplished swiftly and decisively so that the Iranian terrorist regime will find itself in a position of complete and total surrender. As I have said before, Iran and its numerous proxies acted with impunity and have murdered Americans, marred stability within the Middle East, and attempted to sow fear in the hearts of millions through brute force. That reign of terror is at an end.
Welcome News
This week, the Trump Administration announced the withdrawal of the United States from 66 very flawed international organizations that no longer serve the interests of the nation and the American people. This is a serious, positive development – and one that we should all celebrate. Taxpayer dollars should always be protected and should certainly not be funneled to entities that do not share our values and priorities – it’s as simple as that. From radical ideological programs to governance policies that are antithetical to America’s interests, these organizations represent the antithesis of the ideals and democratic principles that have helped our nation and its people grow and thrive. The President’s decision this week is very welcome news indeed.

A Piece of American History
On Wednesday evening, NASA officially launched Artemis II, the first crewed mission of the Artemis program. The launch marked a new chapter of American exploration and innovation, and one that we will remember for many years to come. If you had looked closely, you may have seen the America 250 emblem proudly displayed on the twin rocket boosters that accompanied the rocket for Artemis II. America is a nation that has always sought to push the boundaries of what is possible in exploration, and NASA has played a monumental role in that pursuit.
