Want even further proof that President Trump’s pro-economy policies are delivering results? Look no further than the latest Consumer Price Index (CPI) report from April. According to the report, inflation has fallen to the LOWEST LEVEL in more than four years. And, to add the cherry on top, this is the third straight month where CPI expectations were beaten by President Trump. 

Here's a quick snapshot with specific highlights that are worth paying attention to:

• Grocery prices saw their largest decline in nearly five years.
• Gas prices fell for the third month in a row.
• Egg prices saw the largest one-month decline in more than four decades.
• Workers’ real wages are up 1.9%, increasing each of the last three months.
• Prices for airfare, energy, hotels, and used vehicles are all down compared to last year.

Inevitably, there will be some who will write off this progress and regurgitate the same nefarious talking point that President Trump is lighting fire to everything in sight and that society as we know it is doomed. I hear this same talking point all the time in Washington from my Democrat colleagues and I just shake my head. The economy has come roaring back, the American people are finally experiencing relief from the previous administration’s incompetence, and America has truly entered a new Golden Age. I, for one, am not tired of winning, and I’m certainly not tired of fighting alongside my Republican colleagues and President Trump to put our nation on a brighter and more prosperous path. 

National Police Week

This week officially marks National Police Week, a time where we pause to recognize and commend the around-the-clock efforts and sacrifices made by the men and women of law enforcement. House Republicans passed three separate pieces of legislation this week to further support the men and women of law enforcement, as well as hardworking taxpayers across the nation. I encourage you to read through these three pieces of legislation to learn more:

• H.R. 2240, the bipartisan Improving Law Enforcement Officer Safety and Wellness Through Data Act.
• H.R. 2243, the bipartisan LEOSA Reform Act.
• H.R. 2255, the Federal Law Enforcement Officer Service Weapon Purchase Act of 2025.

 Bring Them All Home

After more than 580 days of being held hostage by Hamas, Edan Alexander, an American citizen, was returned home to his family. Thanks to President Trump’s efforts – as well as the efforts of others – his release was made possible. This is truly incredible news. Every day, I wear the same necklace that reads “Bring them home now!” – and will continue until ALL the hostages have been returned.
