FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Tonight, U.S. Rep. Virginia Foxx (N.C.-5) attended the State of the Union Address and issued the following remarks: “President Bush gave a great speech and laid out a clear roadmap for our country’s future. “As the President said, we are living in historic times and are facing historic challenges. We are winning the War on Terror, decreasing our dependency on foreign oil so we can lower our energy costs and we are addressing other critical issues such as health care and cutting the size of the Federal Government. “As a Member of Congress, I am energized, focused and ready to work on the issues that matter to the American people.” ### |
