On Monday, August 28th U.S. Rep. Virginia Foxx will visit the Drug Abuse Community Research Center in the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine.

Virginia Foxx will visit the Drug Abuse Community Research Center in the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine. "I am excited to see first hand the critical research and development in the areas of physiology, pharmacology and drug abuse being preformed here that benefit not only the residents of the 5th District of North Carolina, but all Americans," said Rep. Foxx “It is an honor to be joined by Dr. David Freedman, Associate Dean Dr. Steven Childers (Professor of Physiology and Pharmacology and the Director of the Center for the Neurobiological Investigation of Drug Abuse) as well as Dr. Michael Nader (Professor and Investigator in the Center for Neurobiological Investigation of Drug Abuse) and Dr. Donald Dougherty (Professor and Vice Chair of the Department of Psychiatry),” stated Foxx.
