Tim Russert was a man of unrivaled journalistic integrity who exercised historic, positive influence in the world of journalism and politics.His loss today is a great blow to the practice of reporting the news. He will be greatly missed and his death is a loss for our nation.
I extend my deepest condolences and wish God’s comfort and peace for his family as they mourn the loss of a father, a son and a husband.
