Good news for the Blowing Rock Community Arts Center project. Fifth district Congresswoman Virginia Foxx says that the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development has approved a loan for more than $6 million for the project. The 26,000 square foot building will include an auditorium, orchestra pit, art gallery, concession stand, children’s theater, kitchen, conference room, costume workshop and office space. It will be built on a 3.5 acre site.
