WSJS Radio It has been two weeks since the election that saw the Republicans make significant gains in the U.S. Congress and the North Carolina General Assembly. North Carolina U.S. Rep. Virginia Foxx, who will now be in the majority party, said the new majority will be focused on what is important to American people. "We know some things that can be done to tackle our number one issue which is jobs, jobs, jobs. We keep asking, like the American people do, where are the jobs and we believe we have some ideas on how we can get that done," said Foxx. Foxx added that some of the steps taken by President Obama in the last two years have not helped the job situation. She and other GOP congress members believe lower taxes will encourage business to |
