WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Representative Virginia Foxx (R-NC) issued the following statement on the retirement of Congressman Patrick McHenry:

“Throughout his entire career in the People’s House, Congressman McHenry has not only been a reliable and visible leader, but he has also been a steadfast friend to many – me included. From his service as the Chairman of the Financial Services Committee to his critical role as Speaker Pro Tem that he assumed this year, Congressman McHenry’s leadership has served as a model that future generations of North Carolinians will study and seek to replicate for years to come. May God bless him, his wife Giulia, and their children in the months and years ahead.”
