Congresswoman Virginia Foxx (R-NC) issued a statement upon the House of Representatives’ passage of a Continuing Resolution (H.J. Res 59) to fund the government:

Res 59) to fund the government: “Consistent with our conservative values, this legislation maintains current savings and also specifies that no taxpayer dollars should be wasted implementing the Obamacare train wreck." Foxx also said, "The American people, by and large, do not want the changes they see coming to their health care because of Obamacare. House Republicans agree and are united in firm opposition to the President’s unfair health law." According to a press release from Foxx: The Continuing Resolution Funds the Government at current levels ($986.3 billion) and Fully Defunds Obamacare. |
