On Tuesday, October 1st at 10:00 a.m. EST, I will hold a Higher Education and Workforce subcommittee hearing regarding simplifying federal student aid as part of our subcommittee’s ‘Keeping College Within Reach’ hearing series.

As the committee prepares to reauthorize the Higher Education Act, this hearing will provide members with an opportunity to explore certain proposals to streamline the federal student aid system in attempt to make it easier for students and families to understand the higher education investment system.
